Field Trip

Five different markets: Asian, Southeast Asian, Indian, Ethiopian, and Turkish. A million new things tried: sausage, cheese pastry, breads, candies. Flavors overwhelming me. Sweet and sour and spicy. We rushed around the city and asked questions at every stop. We ate until we could eat no more. I must have taken notes to fill a whole notebook. We returned with breads and cookies left from our adventures. It was the best field trip-- ever.
